What the Night is For
18 March - 4 April 2009
by Michael Weller
A revival of Michael Weller’s What the Night Is For runs at the Tabard Theatre presented by Geezer productions. Weller’s two-hander premiered at the Comedy Theatre in 2002 with Gillian Anderson making her West End debut.
Ten years after the end of their affair in New York, two people meet in an hotel room far from their homes. Both are married and both have children. Both also have unfulfilled lives and unrealised dreams. Could a casual dinner and a catch up really be that dangerous?
Uncompromising in its attitude towards modern marriage and infidelity, What The Night Is For directly addresses the question: Is the person you are with the right one? Or are they still out there, living another life?
Starring: Stacy Thunes and Tim Charrington
